GV II

Walls, gate piers, gates, sundial and retaining wall. C18 and C19. Ashlar,
coursed rubble stone and wrought iron. In front of principal front a
retaining wall cl½m high and flight of stone steps and beyond a lawn
a similar wall with central sundial on top. Fluted column and octagonal
plinth. Extending from left hand corner of entrance front a stone coped
wall c2m high with 2 pairs of gate piers with stone balls on top, one
with fine wrought iron gate, the other with double wooden gates. Included
for group value.
