House. Later C17. Ashlar with plinth, moulded bands and stone dressings
and hipped Collyweston slate roof with 2 moulded stone valley stacks.
Principal facade to rear. 2½ storeys of 5 2-light stone mullion and transom
windows, mostly lengthened, probably mid C19. Central part-glazed door
with overlight divided into 2. 2 3-light dormers over. Front to right
similar with blocked central door, 2 2-light dormers, and basement 2-light
and small door and 1-light. Front to left also similar but with tall
central staircase window and mid C19 1 storey bay projection to left
with similar 6-light and 2-light windows. 3 2-light dormers and 2 basement
2-lights. To left of this front a small 1½ storey wing in coursed rubble
stone with stone coped gables and side stack. Entrance in mid C19 1 storey
extension also with stone mullion windows. Contemporary staircase with
turned balusters,and panelling. Pevsner.
