House. Late C16-C17, much refurbished C20, with flanking C18-C19 extensions.
Timber frame with diagonal braces and large square panels of whitewashed render
infill. Some timbers renewed C20. Stone plinth, thatched roof, central brick
chimney. 2 storeys; 2 bays. C20 paired casements with diamond leading.
Central C20 half-glazed door with thatched porch. Slightly taller extension to
right is late C18-early C19, of whitewashed roughcast with tiled roof, and has
similar casements. Single-storey extension to left, formerly a cowhouse, is
also roughcast and whitewashed and is later C19 in origin. Interior has
chamfered spine beams and altered fireplace. Roof trusses are all different,
the left with inset curved principals, the centre with tension braces to low
tie-beam at floor level, the right with queen struts.
