School, designed by Millican and Smith of Leicester in 1857. It was built in 1858 and is of Charnwood granite rubble with ashlar dressings and two-span Swithland slate roof. Long main range with three gables in the centre, each lit by two cusped lights with cusped oculi above. Buttressed gabled projections at each end, that to the left hand side with a similar two-light window, and that to the right hand side larger, with a four-light window and a door. Lower projections parallel to main range to left and right. Two truncated lateral chimney stacks. Contemporary gate piers and railings to street.
