House, mid C19, of Charnwood granite rubble with plain tiled roof and three brick ridge stacks (one transversely set). Two storeys, four window range. Some single-light and some two-light windows, with four-centred-arched heads within rectangular surrounds, some with glazing bars. Arched-headed entrance with plank door with decorative hinges, to right of left-hand bay. Gabled extension to left and outshut to right, with similar doorway and window above. Gabled projections to rear, one with a lateral chimney stack of Charnwood granite rubble.

At one time the building served as a Roman Catholic convent and school.
