House. C17, altered and refronted C19-C20. Left gable retains cruck truss,
possibly C16, of former adjoining building, demolished 1945. C17 house is box-
framed, with timber exposed in rear wall, the front rebuilt in brick and white-
washed C19-C20. Left gable has irregular surface of whitewashed render, part
over cob infill. Steeply pitched slate roof, flanking brick chimneys. 2 storeys,
2 bays. Front has irregular C20 2-light wooden windows with glazing bars, the
lower windows transomed. Similar single light to centre of ground floor; flush-
panelled door to right of centre. Left gable has cruck truss with tie-beam,
collar and yoke. Small single-storey extension to rear. Interior has heavy
framing in central partition wall.
