Cottage. Early Cl7 with early C18 extension to south, and C19 wing to rear.
Coursed ironstone rubble, the C18 extension has facade of brick with burnt
headers. Cruck framed, thatched roof throughout. 1½ storeyed, L plan. On the
front elevation -the original bay is to the left and contains a doorway and
2-light eyebrow dormer above. 1 3-light casement window with small panes and
some original glazing, with steep cambered brick arched head in the C18 brick
right hand bay. Coped gable to south, and gable wall partially re-built with
breeze blocks suggesting possible former mud wall. In the north wall rear
wing, 1 3-light casement window to each floor, the upper with small panes
and original glazing. C19 wing beyond, brick with Welsh slate roof. The rear
of the main range is entirely of ironstone rubble to ground floor, rendered
above. Doorway and new windows to ground floor. 2 swept dormers above. Projecting
right hand bay contains 3-light casement window to ground floor, and 2-light
dormer completely within the roof slope. 2 brick axial stacks.
