Large House. C17 core but much altered in late C19 or early C20. Coursed ironstone rubble with Swithland slate roof. Main range of 2½ storeys and three bays, with central doorway, a glazed door beneath chamfered stone lintel. Either side of it, two storey squared stone bays contain 3-light wood mullioned and transomed windows on each floor. 2-light window above door and 2-light casements in attic storey, set beneath shaped gablets. Overhanging eaves. Roof a C19 or C20 heightening. (Photo Jul 2007).
