Tower of smock-mill. Circa early mid C19. Perforated yellow brick in English bond. Externally many of the brick faces have been eroded exposing the perforations. Moulded stone cornice and red brick blockings to pointed archwindow. Octagonal wooden superstructure (shaped like a C19 agricultural workers smock) has been dismantled. Said to be the only known smock-mill in Leicestershire and Rutland. (Photo Sept 2012)
