1) -Elizabeth Metcalfe The Daughter of Charles Metcalf Departed this life Decembr Y 15 1666-. The engraver has used ligatures for TH and THE, with the cross of the T and the fingers of the E being joined to the H. Ligatures for ME and TE also occur. (Photo Mar 2013).
