C19 benefactions board -Donations to the poor. Mr Thomas Bunney died july 26th 1804, He gave by Will one hundred Pounds for ever to John Wartnaby, William Adcock and George Bunney, in trust, the interest to be laid out for the benefit of the poor of Great Dalby. As Follows, first to pay for six penny loaves on every Sunday in the year, one loaf to be given to the Parish Clerk, the other five to be given to the poorest Widows or Orphans who are at divine service. to be given away as soon as service is over, The remaining part is for the Education of Poor Children of this Parish, under the age of Thirteen Years, to learn to read only For Further Particulars, That Clause of the Will is registered in a Book kept by the Trustees, which may be seen by any Inhabitant at their yearly meeting. Mrs Alice Hurst, Wife of Mr Richard Hurst, Late of Barrowby in the County of Lincoln, Left by Will Ten Shillings yearly for ever to the Poor of this Parish it being the Place of her Birth; and to be distribited amongst the Poor on the First Day of January Yearly for Ever by the Overseers of this Parish. 1785 The Present Trustees are Mr William Williamson, Mr Charles Goodson and Mr George William Brewitt-.
