Cottage. Early C17 with added bay of c1900. Timber framed with brick panel infill, and thatched roof. The later extension is brick with Welsh slate.
Original cottage is gable onto the street, two storeyed and two unit plan, with eight bays of timber framing, of post and truss construction with some arch bracing, no sill beam and two middle rails. New window to left and late C19 two-light squared bay window to right. Two-light eyebrow dormer above. Queen strut truss in gable wall. Front gable is a Victorian or Edwardian addition, with projecting bay window with three sashes beneath round headed arches. Paired upper lights are steeply pointed sashes. Painted mock timbering superimposed upon the original gable wall. Doorway is in angle with additional bay, beneath a lean-to porch with fretted decoration and curved struts. Squared bay window with margin lights to sashes and two-light sash window above with rendered head. To the right a tall outbuilding with high cart entry. Axial stacks.
