The Manor House, attached Wall and outbuildings

House. Late C18 to early C19. Brick with slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays with
central door with overlight recessed in round headed archway with rendered
surround. 3-light wood casements with transoms, lower central opening lights
and cambered brick heads with stuccoed keystones on each floor. Dentilled
eaves cornice. Gable end stacks. Lower bay to right possibly of earlier date,
also brick but with corrugated sheeting to roof, replacing thatch. Blocked
inner doorway and outer 3-light casement window. Upper window a 3-light
horizontally sliding sash. Garden wall attached to left, early C19. Red brick
with blue brick copings, c5' high, with pair of gate piers, brick with stone
ball finials and ashlar bands. To the rear of the house is a range of outbuildings,
late C18 or early C19.Brick with hipped Swithland slate roofs. 2 storeyed,
the left-hand bay roofed separately with pyramidal roof. 2-light casement window
to ground floor in blocked wider opening with cambered head. 3-light casement
above. 2 bays to right have outer door and inner 2-light casement window,
loading door and casement window above.
