Crest, a wreath Argent and Sable, a whale’s head erased of the last. -Near this place lie the remains of Mr. John Smalley, who died Sept. 19, 1763, aged 61 years; of Mrs. Elizabeth Smalley his wife, daughter of Sir Richard Halford, of Wistow, Bart. She died June 11, 1772, aged 69 years; and of Lieutenant William Smalley, their son, who died Jan. 5, 1764 aged 28 years.
