House. c1840 with C20 alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble with
ashlar quoins and dressings. Slate roofs with paired gable and ridge stacks
in rubble with ashlar tops. 2 storey 6 bay south east front, the right hand
end bay is advanced and gabled. Central canted 2 storey ashlar bay window
with glazing bar sashes and hipped roof. To left a pair of glazed double
doors and beyond a further 2 storey canted bay window. To right is a
glazing bar sash, a plain sash and plain tripartite sash in the advanced
bay. To the first floor are four glazing bar sashes and a tripartite window
to the right. The south west entrance front has an off centre projecting
single storey porch with Doric pilasters supporting an entablature. The
doorway has a large overlight and four panel door. Above is a single
glazing bar sash. The interior retains four panelled doors and four centred
arched fireplaces in the Tudor style.
