6/42 The Old Rectory

II

Former rectory now house. c.1840. Coursed squared limestone rubble with
ashlar quoins and dressings, slate roof having raised stone coped gables
and moulded kneelers. Single ashlar gable and ridge stacks, having square
funnels and moulded copings. 2 storey , 3 bay front with plinth. Central 2
light window with to left a further 2 light window and to right a 3 light
window. To first floor are similar windows. All windows are glazing bar
sashes with cavetto moulded mullions and chamfered stone reveals. To the
side is a four centred arched Tudor doorway with moulded head and lozenge
stops.
