Former rectory, now house. c.1855. Squared limestone rubble
with ashlar quoins and dressings, slate roofs with timber
bargeboards, 4 tall squared rubble wall stacks with moulded
ashlar tops. L-plan, the rear range is a lower 2 storey service
wing. 2 storey with garret irregular 2 bay entrance front with
chamfered plinth and offset string course. Off-centre half
glazed doors in moulded stone surround set in projecting stone
porch with cornice and parapet. To right a plain sash. Over the
porch 2 tall cross mullioned windows with leaded lights to the
stair, flanked by plain sashes. In the gable over 3 smaller
sash windows. The side front has a canted bay window with plain
shield in circle over and steeply gabled slate roof. The 4 bay
garden front has a projecting and separately gabled central bay,
containing a sash window in recessed stone surround. To left are
2 and to right a single, narrower similar windows. To first
floor are 6 similar windows. In the gables are single small
lights. All sash windows have staggered glazing bars to the
upper lights only, segmental roll moulded ashlar heads and deep
splayed sills and chamfered reveals.
