Late C18 mansion of half H. plan with Cl9 additions behind. 3 storeys.
Red brick. Fainted stringcourse above first floor. Painted cornice.
Brick parapet. Windows in painted and moulded architrave surrounds with
glazing bars intact, those on ground and first floor having cornices over.
The West front has 5 windows, the centre window being tripartite, and a
large porch with twin Doric engaged columns with narrow windows between them
and on each side, a triglyph frieze and pediment. The South front has 7
windows and a curved bay of 3 windows in the centre on all floors. On each
side of this is a stuccoed bay built out on ground floor only containing a
panelled tripartite window flanked by panelled pilasters. The staircase is
modern but one room contains walls divided into panels by enriched mouldings
and another room has a good ceiling cornice.
