1873. By Philip Webb for Lord Sackville Cecil. Built of coursed rusticated
stone with brick dressings and some herring-bone brick walls. Tile roof
with dormers. Segmental headed windows. Weatherboarded gable ends with
dentil bargeboards. Studded oak door with carved "Oast House" - Original
staircase. Large brick chimneys corbelled out at the tops. One and 2
storeys. Double dentil. Brick eaves cornice.
