Architect Lutyens - Continuous range forming the north-west corner of square. Two
storeys, grey and red brick. No 1 has projecting end with 3 windows to ground storey,
two to first, and one dormer. Door to No 1 with mezzanine fanlight of 12 glazed
squares; cornice hood on consoles. Nos 2 and 4 have projecting features, surmounted
by a balustraded flat roof. These features are of 3 window bays with centre doors
with stone rusticated surrounds. Above such door, a floor to ceiling window with a
brick niche either side.
No 4 is a flat front of 4 window bays, those to first floor being floor to ceiling.
No 5 has a central archway feature, rusticated, with heavy key block, triglyph frieze
and cornice, the whole the full height of the 2 storeys.
No 6 is of 3 window bays, with 3 high dormers, with cambered cornices.
No 7 projects slightly, and this projection is hipped. It has a centre door with
eared architrave, and pulvinated frieze and cornice. Either side is a pair of canted
bays.
No 8 is 2 storeys plus attic storey; of 3 window bays and has a return frontage to
Erskine Hill.
