Moat bridge and attached gate piers. C15 bridge and early C19 piers. Limestone
ashlar. C15 parapet walls of bridge, with triangular coping are only visible
remains of bridge after it was infilled in 1921-4: C19 drawings show a C15 moulded
pointed arch spanning the moat, which itself dates from the early C13. Two early
C19 Gothic-style piers to west end, with traceried panels, brattished cornice
and pyramidal caps.

Lodge. Early 19th century. Mostly rendered to imitate stone; tiled roof.
Eccentric Tudor Gothic style. 1 storey and dormers. Irregular composition.
Asymmetrical round tower, with conical roof, and tall 4-shafted Tudor-style
chimney. Crenellated bay window. Entrance porch with traceried plaster
vault and Tudor entrance arch. Square headed mullioned cusped windows.
decorative barge boards. Adjoining stone parapet of former moat bridge and
pair of gatepiers, early 19th century, stone with traceried panels.
