Public house. Dated 1906. Red brick with buff terracotta dressings. Green
slate roof. Scottish Baronial with Flemish and Baroque touches. Three
storeys, five bays, with outer two bays set forward with Dutch gables and
triple windows. Circular tower with conical turret to left or right hand
bay; entrance beneath. Four further entrances. Segmental arch to right.
Carriageway to left. Centre bay three windows wide with mutule cornice
over.
