Mid C19 pair, each two storeys and basement, two windows. Stock brick, incised
stucco basement and stucco frieze. Fairly low pitched hipped slate roof with
deep eaves soffit and central chimney wall. One dormer each. Outer entrance
bays slightly set back. Paired pilasters in centre, single at angles of centre
block, have stuccoed capitals to frieze. Sash windows with delicate glazing bars;
on first floor, in eared moulded architraves; on ground floor, in stuccoed panels
with console bracketed cornice and pediment, projecting cills with ornamental
cast iron guards. Five stone steps to fancy half-glazed four-panel doors with
plain fanlights in projecting classical stuccoed porches with round-arched openings.
