Part of same item as garden walls in Onslow Avenue and on north and south sides
of Warren Avenue.
C17. Part of Cheam Warren Wall [for fuller description see item notes under
Onslow Avenue]. Wall of red brick with battered coping; pilasters. Short section
of wall between south entrance to No 2 and north entrance to No 4; wall before
No 4 with 2 brick pilasters and interruption for entrance at south end also;
wall to No 6 with interruptions for entrances at north and south ends; wall to
No 8 with interruption for entrance at north end; wall to No 10 has brick pilaster
and interruption for entrance at north end; walls to Nos 12, 14 and 16 with interruptions
for entrances at either end. In back garden to No 18, 2 separate sections of
wall, one continuous with south garden wall to Wychwood in Onslow Avenue and
the other was once continuous with both these sections of wall but is now a free-standing
structure in the middle of the garden to No 18 [see OS Map for 1868].
