Terraced town houses. c.1770-80 Portland Estate development. Stock brick
with channelled stucco ground floor; slate roofs. 4 storeys and basements.
3-window wide astylar fronts. Semicircular arched doorways adjoining to left
and right, No 61 with stuccoed Doric columned porch and balustrade, and No 62
with spaced vermiculated rustications; panelled doors, side lights and fanlights
in plain Venetian composition. Recessed sashes, those on ground floor of No 61
with vermiculated dressings, under flat gauged arches to upper floors. Plat
band ovejgrcwd floor stuccowork. Parapet with coping. No 61 has bracketed
balustraded 1st floor balcony and No 62 has cast iron balconette on stucco brackets.
Spear head area railings to No 61, No 62 with c.1900 railings, with tall urn-
capped neo-Georgian standards. Interiors not inspected.
