Substantial house. Dated 1910. Designed by Boehmer and Gibbs. Red brick.
Portland stone dressings. Hipped slate roof to parapet. Corner site. Refined
early Georgian revival. 4 storeys. Cavendish Street facade largely
symmetrical. 5 bays, with central entrance having projecting Ionic semicircular
porch to channelled Portland stone ground floor. Alternating stone and brick
quoins. Square headed architraved windows, 3 blind, others with flush frames,
sashes; central first floor window with scrolly pediment and cartouche
decoration. Stone band above second floor. Modillion eaves cornice; parapet. 3
pedimented dormers, the outer triangular, the inner semicircular. Slab chimneys.
2 storey 3-bay wing to right. Return to left, with similar treatment. Wrought
iron area railings.
