House, now 2 houses and 2 cottages. "I S AC 1722" on
datestone but rebuilt in mid C19. Flemish bond brick with
slate roof. 2-bay, 2-storey house with wing and outshut to
rear, C20 addition to right and 1-storey (plus attics)
cottages to left. The house has a central door with
datestone above. 2 cross-casement windows on each floor
(one replaced in C20) with stone sills and cambered brick
arches. Gable chimney stacks. The cottages have doors to
left (one obscured by C20 porch) and 3-light timber mullion
windows below brick hoodmoulds to right. 3 gabled dormer
windows and a chimney stack with diagonally set cross-shaped
shaft. The rear of the cottages are symmetrical about a
central gable and have similar door and window openings.
The rear of the house has a gable with raised diaper-pattern
brickwork above 3-light timber-mullion windows. Interior:
Nothing would appear to date from 1722. Included for group
