Planting stone. c.1897. Limestone ashlar. Rectangular block with moulded
head, on plinth with inscription "In commemoration of the 60th year of Queen
Victoria's reign these oaks were planted by the family at the wish of John
Poyntz 5th Earl Spencer K.G. and Charlotte Countess Spencer AD 1897" has
Spencer coat of arms above. Enclosed by railings with spikes.
