Farmhouse and cottage. Mid C18. Hammer-dressed stone with
slate roof and brick stacks. The farmhouse (no.2) is double-
depth with a central staircase and 2 storeys; the cottage is
one bay wide with 2 storeys. Farmhouse has a central door
and a projecting plinth. 3 and 5-light recessed flat-faced
stone mullion windows on either side of the door have each
lost 2 mullions. A later window is inserted above the door
and has a 4 and 5-light flat-faced stone mullion window to
either side. The cottage has a door to left, and a 5-light
recessed flat-faced mullion window to each floor. 2 brick
ridge chimney stacks. Similar 2 and 3-light gable windows.
The right gable is heavily buttressed.
