SU 08 NE LYDIARD MILLICENT THE BUTTS

8/229 Priory Cottage

II

House. Probably C17 altered later. Colourwashed limestone rubble
with thatched roof. 1-storey and attic. 4 bays with 1 bay forward
extension to left. Door in right bay, C20 8-panelled, with
thatched canopy. C20 timber casement windows. Brick stack between
bays 2 and 3 and to left gable. Thatch swept over 2 dormers to
front and rear.
