5/129 Lodge to New Hall

II

Lodge. Early C19. Painted Flemish bond brick, Welsh slate half-
hipped roof, brick stack. T-plan. One storey and attic, 2 windows.
4-panelled door in pointed opening to left of centre with two 2-
light pointed casements with Gothick leading to right. Two 2-light
pointed casements in attic dormers with curved lead roofs. Right
return has one 2-light casement with cambered head and one 2-light
casement with square head. To rear is C20 flat-roofed extension to
right and one 2-light casement with cambered head to both floors of
rear wing.
Interior not inspected. Situated at entrance of drive to New Hall,
(not included in list) now a late C19 house, replacing an earlier
building by James Wyatt.
