Non-conformist chapel. 1865-7. W and G Audsley. Rock faced
rubble and patterned slate roof. Nave, south west tower
(ritual west is actual east), transepts. High Victorian
Gothic. 4-bay nave has 3-light windows and 2:3:2-light
stepped west windows. Tower has angle buttresses ending in
niches. Paired, louvred bell openings. Broach spire between
pinnacles with arcading and with lucarnes with hipped roofs.
West entrance in tower of 3 orders, shallow porch. Transepts
have 3 stepped 2-light windows, south transept has canted
stair tower with hipped roof. Crossing has slate fleche with
open stage. Interior has barrel roof on wall piers. Galleries
at west end and in transepts on marble piers. Pulpit at east
end with area in front surrounded by rails and organ behind.
East rose window. Iron light fittings.
