House. C15 Wealden hall-house with early C17 L-wing. Timber-framed with thatched
roof and C16 multiple filleted brick chimney stack. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Close-
studded to front with plaster infill and moulded bressummer. Curved brackets
to 1st floor and supporting the eaves of the recessed centre. 4 late C19 casement
windows and window to ground floor of original open hall. Right hand blocked <
orginal 4 centred arched doorway between original open hall and service end.
North elevation is partially close-studded with curved braces and partially
square framed with later brick infill to east.
