House. C15 Wealden hall-house of 4 bays jettied at front, restored and with north
wing added in early C20. Timber-framed, the ground floor now underbuilt in red
brick, the 1st floor hung with alternate bands of plain and curved tiles. Hipped
tiled roof with gablet and tall C19 clustered brick chimney stack on ridge. Large
curved wooden brackets supporting eaves of recessed centre and on 1st floor. 3
C19 casement windows with diamond paned lights and 2 storey early C20 bay window
with wooden mullions to former open hall. The rear elevation has an early C20
triangular dormer containing curved window and early C20 doorcase with wooden
porch. The C20 north wing has red brick ground floor and tile hung 1st floor.
