Farmhouse. Late C16, with C19 face. 2 storeys and attics; main range and
cross-wing. Timber-framed, encased in C19 red brick; plaintiles to one slope
of roof, slates to the other; an original red brick gable end with bands, and
a large external stack on the rear wall with moulded offsets and 2 later
square detached shafts. Some old lattice windows at the rear; those on the
front mainly C19 3-light and 4-light small-paned mullion-and-transome type with
segmental arched heads. Panelled entrance door in a heavily-moulded original
surround. Most timbers covered inside: one main beam has a multiple roll-
moulding. Various old moulded plank doors.
