TL 96 NE NORTON THE STREET

House, probably C16 or early C17. One storey and attics. 3-cell plan.
Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof with two C19 eyebrow casement
dormers. An axial chimney, the shaft rebuilt in gault brick. A C19 gable
chimney of gault brick to left, and another of C20 to right. Mid C19 small-
pane casements. Two C19 4-panelled entrance doors with glazed upper panels;
the right hand doorway has a C19 pantiled gabled porch on posts. Interior not
examined.
