Manor farmhouse. Mainly C16. Rear wing bears bold plaster date 1719,
possibly the time of some alteration to it. Timber framed, the facade with
mid C20 panelled plasterwork with pargetted infill; gable ends and rear are
roughcast-rendered. Main rear wing is plastered. Pantiled roofs, one rear
section with glazed black tiles. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell, lobby entry
main range with further work to rear forming L-shape plan. Windows are mainly
C19 small-paned casements; C19 sash windows with glazing bars to right hand
cell, the upper window half-height. Mid C20 porch with hipped roof and semi-
glazed door in 2 leaves. Internal stack with original oblong shaft. Interior
not examined. Substantial remains of medieval moat.
