Farmhouse, early C17 with probable earlier core. 2 storeys. 3-cell plan with
lobby-entrance: the service cell is of cross-wing form. Timber-framed and
plastered. Concrete tiled roof, once thatched. An axial early or mid C17
chimney of red brick with sunk date panel in the base, and a sawtooth shaft.
C19 casements of 3 lights, those at ground storey with transomes (one mid C20
2-light replacement). Doorway at lobby-entrance position: early C19 pilasters
and modillioned cornice, C20 door with 2 vertical panels. Interior not
examined.
