House, late C16 in two stages. One storey and attics. 3-cell lobby-entrance
plan. Timber-framed and roughcast. Thatched roof with C20 eyebrow casement
dormer. An axial chimney, the shaft rebuilt in C19 red brick. Mid C20
casements, and boarded door at lobby-entrance position. Unmoulded framing of
c.1600 fully exposed internally: unchamfered floor joists laid flat. Clasped
purlin roof. A parlour cell to right of chimney is a slightly later addition;
the house may at first have been of 2-cell end-chimney form.
