A C17 timber-framed and plastered house, gabled on the east front, facing
St James' Churchyard, with a jettied upper storey on curved brackets.
The gable also is jettied on curved brackets. 2 storeys and attics.
2 window range on the north front, double-hung sashes with glazing bars.
There are also 2 small modern casements. The west end has a C19 shop
front with glazing bars (widely spaced), pilasters and cornice. The east
end has 1 window range, C20 casements on the lower storeys and an old
leaded casement in the gable. Roof tiled.
