A C16 timber-framed house refronted in the late C18 in red brick. On
the south side, at the rear, there are 2 gables. 2 storeys and attics.
3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals.
The centre window on the 1st storey is set in a slightly recessed brick
panel. A good central 6-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight and
panelled reveals is set in a slightly recessed brick panel. Roof tiled
(C20). The interior has a fine C16 ceiling with moulded and carved beams
and moulded joists and a central boss carved with a Tudor Rose. There
is also a good late C18 or early C19 staircase with cut strings and swept
handrails.
