A C16 red brick 2 storeyed octagonal building with octagonal corner buttresses
surmounted by octagonal pinnacles. Each face of the octagon is surmounted
by a gable with an octagonal pinnacle. The windows are C18 double-hung
sashes with glazing bars, in stone surrounds with square hood moulds.
The upper storey is reached by a straight flight of steps on the east
side and a porch with short fluted columns. The Summer House is built
into the west wall to Melford Hall at the north end.
