Includes No. 74 Water Street. A C15-C16 timber-framed and plastered building
refronted in the early C18. A wing extends to the east on Water Street
(No. 74). Roof tiled, hipped. The timber-framing is exposed on the south
side and on the upper storey of the north side. Two storeys. Three-window range on the front. Casement windows, two on the upper storey
are old leaded casements. The ground storey has a small shop bay and
two small modern bays. The north front, on Water Street, has 2-window
range of casements (one is an old leaded casement) and there are some
blocked original windows. The ground-storey windows have panelled shutters.
Two ridge chimney stacks (one with attached shafts). No. 3 has an C18
fireplace and small cupboard.
