Probably C16. A timber framed building refaced with roughcast. Slightly jettied
1st floor with moulded bressumer and brackets. Half hipped tiled roof. 2 storeys
and attic with 1 hipped dormer. 3 windows, early C19 style casements, modern reproduction
shop windows.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos land 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
