House, now offices. Of C15 origin, but mainly early C18, with C20
extensions,Walls of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, cambered arches,
with stone keys, stone cills, stone coping to parapet with ball finials.
Slate roof. Symmetrical west front with half-hexagonal projecting
centrepiece of 3 storeys, 2.3.2. windows. The middle face of the
centrepiece is raised as a gable, with an arched recess. Sashes, several
with thick window bars, the centrepiece of ground floor windows being of
later sytle, within reeded architraves. The south side has a C20 2
storeyed wing, with tile roof, tilehung 1st floor, and brick ground floor;
sashes and the present entrance. At the rear there is a mid C19 wing.
Part of the rear of the main block has brickwork in English bond, and a
ground floor room has a wall of timber-framing.
