Rectory now private house. Late C18 and early C19, C20 alterations.
Brick, slate roof to main block, tile roof to rest. 2 storey and attic,
double pile block with 3 bay addition to one end and long 5 bay, 1 1/2 storey
service range to other. Entrance front irregular with C19 and C20
additions, C20 wide lead roof porch on stone columns on early C19 wing
against C18 part with C19 bathrocm wing beside, mainly C19 windows,
dormers on low service range. Garden front has projecting centre 3 bays
of oldest part. To RH lean-to summer loggia infront of 1st bay of
service range. At LH set back C19 addition. Centre part has large niche.
Each side low-silled 12-pane sash in recessed arch. On 1st floor at
end tall niche. Three 12-pane sashes, centre larger. Stone cornice,
low parapet. 2 gabled dormers. Large end stacks. To LH 3 bay wing has
six 12-pane sashes with louvred shutters. Roof hipped with large LH
of centre stack.
