Parish church. Of medieval origins, C18 tower, rebuilt 1878. Brick
and reused squared stone, flint plinth, brick tower and repairs, plain
tile roof. Plan of chancel with north vestry, nave and west tower, in
Dec style. East window triple lancet with circular tracery over, and
hood mould. Other windows trefoiled, except older north window.
Kneelered gable walls. Paired lancets in nave and tower. Tower has
chamfered lower stages. Pointed west door. Inside C19 with pointed arch
on corbel capitals to vestry and chancel. Early and mid C19 memorials
to Templeman and Purvis families. 5 steps up to tower porch, with stone
tablets 1762 to Charles Delafaye and small plain cylinder font of old
church.
