Manor House. Circa 1700. Brick, stone window dressings, plain tile roof.
2 storeys 3 x 3 bay building with projecting central pediment to front.
Front has projecting central bay with 3 C15 style 2-light trefoiled
windows with trefoil over. Centre window now has C19 kneelered gabled
brick porch with round-headed archway, over blind opening with stone sill
and lintel. Each side stone 2-light mullioned window. Moulded brick
architrave to pediment and lunette window of moulded brick. Other bays
have stone 3-light mullioned window on each floor, hood mould on ground
floor. Moulded brick eaves well below level of pediment. Roof hipped all
round with central well. Stack in well either side of centre and small
stacks on side faces of roof. Interior of interest with many C17 and C18
features. Building is supposed to incorporate C14 Manor Court and C15
windows probably come from church. Buildings of England; Hampshire;
