GV II

Mine powder house. Built 1837. Stone rubble. Dry slate roof with gable ends.
PLAN: Small single-cell rectangular building with entrance at north end.
EXTERIOR: Single storey. Doorway on left of north gable end with timber lintel and plank door. Window at centre of west side with timber lintel and plank shutters.
INTERIOR: Limewashed walls; open to reconstructed roof structure.
Combe Martin Silver Mine is important historically as a documented Medieval mine.
