about 3 yards north-east
of the vestry of the
- Church of St James

GV II

Chest tomb. Mid-C19. Ashlar. Gothic detail: Moulded plinth and flat
capping; corner piers have cusped lancet panels; shaped inscription panels.
North panel commemorates Elizabeth Gaunt, died 1829? and Ann Gaunt, died ?,
the rest of the inscription is illegible; south panel commemorates William
Knight, died 1837, Thomas Gaunt, died 1895, Margaret Gaunt, died 1895, and
James Gaunt, died 1895; the west panel commemorates John Gaunt, died 1831
and Wilmot Gaunt, died 1801; the east panel commemorates William Ogden,
died 1830, and Ann Ogden.
